Oxford House Gift Card Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions (Terms) apply to all gift cards (Card) issued by Oxford House (Venue).
In these Terms, ‘you’ is the purchaser or recipient of the Card. By acquiring, using, or attempting to use a Card, you agree to be bound by these Terms and any terms printed on the Card. It is your responsibility to ensure that any recipient or user of the Card is aware of, and complies with, these Terms.
The Card is a prepaid gift card. The amount available for making non-cash payments under the Card is set when the Card is issued.
The amount available for payments under the Card cannot be increased once the Card has been issued, except for the reversal of a payment made in error.
The Card is not legal tender, an account card, a credit or debit card, a security or financial product. The Card cannot be used to withdraw or redeem cash, reloaded, returned for a refund, or have the balance consolidated to a new gift card.
The Card can be used to purchase food, beverages, or accommodation at Oxford House. When using the Card for accommodation, a credit card will still be required for security and incidental charges.
You cannot exchange or use the Card to acquire a gift card for any other restaurant, bar, hotel, or venue.
The Card will expire on the date specified on the Card, which will not be earlier than three years from the date the Card is supplied by the Venue (Expiry Date). The Card may not be used after the Expiry Date, and any remaining balance will be forfeited.
The Card is not registered to any user, and anyone in possession of the Card may use it. Any use of the Card is deemed to be made by you. The Venue recommends keeping your Card in a secure place. The Venue is under no obligation to replace, and is not liable for, any Card that is defaced, mutilated, altered, lost, or stolen.
The Card may not be used for certain events, functions, or special offers, including but not limited to holidays, private events, or other high-demand periods (e.g., New Year’s Eve). Blackout dates may apply, and these dates are determined at the sole discretion of the Venue. Please contact Oxford House if you have any questions regarding whether the Card can be used for a particular event, function, or offer.
The Card is for personal use only and must not be used for marketing, advertising, or promotional activities without prior written approval from the Venue.
The Card cannot be used for transactions exceeding the available balance unless the difference is paid by another accepted payment method.
You may use all or part of the Card value when making a purchase. Any remaining balance will remain on the Card until the Expiry Date and can be used against future purchases.
You are responsible for ensuring that alcohol purchased with the Card is only consumed by persons aged 18 or over.
If you experience issues with a purchase using the Card or with your experience at Oxford House, please contact the Venue.
The Venue may refuse to redeem a Card if fraud is suspected, or until satisfied that no fraud has occurred.
The Card remains the property of Oxford House and must be returned upon the earlier of the Expiry Date or exhaustion of the balance.
Certain rights under Australian Consumer Law cannot be excluded. These Terms do not attempt to exclude, restrict, or modify those rights.
Subject to clause 18, to the maximum extent permitted by law, the Venue excludes all liability for any loss or damage arising in respect of the Card.
Use of the Card is subject to all Venue policies regarding the goods and services offered.

If any provision of these Terms is void, unenforceable, or illegal, it may be severed without affecting the validity of the remaining Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
